Eight helpful security precautions

1. Make sure you have off site daily backups
2. Change Passwords Yearly
3. Remove access rights immediately for dismissed employees
4. Insure virus definitions are up to date
5. Make sure your firewall is up to date
6. Check your security policies
7. Most viruses are propogated through e-mail attachments; Before opening an attachment make sure you know who sent the e-mail.
8. Make sure employees are not running adware, spyware, file sharing or instant messaging programs
